Revealing a celebration through layers

We were commissioned to design a printed guide for Albert Kriemler, Creative Director of the Swiss fashion house Akris, on the occasion of his private birthday celebration in Barcelona. The challenge was to condense two days of events into an elegant piece that balances joy with intimacy, and information with restraint. Inspired by the architecture of Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion, we developed a die-cut sleeve and a card layout that transform the act of reading into a gradual process of discovery. Precise typography, tactile materials, and meticulous production culminate in an object of quiet elegance and lasting curiosity.
